After returning home from the military, Bob took a job in the private sector, but soon realized that public service was calling him. His introduction to public service came in the form of a police officer for the city of Agawam where he remaind for 32 years retiring at the rank of Lieutenant. As a young police officer rising through the ranks, he became deeply involved as an advocate for human rights issues, through union representation, social and civic groups, fundraising and various charities throughout Agawam and the region..

 

Bob's decision to run for public office and a seat on the City council comes from that calling; wanting to make a difference in how people's voices are heard. His love for community is what drives him, and his background is what makes him a good choice for the city.

Bob considers serving the people of Agawam on the City Council as an honor, not a career choice.
